How To Guppy Fish Farming


Ornamental fish well known by the public as aquarium decoration. Development of ornamental fish in Indonesia making progress continues to increase, especially freshwater fish native to Indonesia. The characteristics of the father :

The characteristic of the mother :

Guppy Fish Breeding Techniques :
Choose mains are relatively large, inflated shape and has beautiful colors. Moms that have been included in a tub for a few pairs of parent. But if want certain breeds can also be done by separating the pairs separate tub.
Spawning tanks must be controlled every day. After birth, children should fish quickly removed and separated from the mother to avoid being eaten by its mother.

Seed Treatment :
v  Children newly born fish do not need food, because it still contains yolk (egg yolk). After 4-5 days juveniles can only be given food in the form of water fleas that have been filtered, or boiled egg yolk and destroyed.
v  After reaching medium size (2-3 cm) can be worm food, then after reaching aduld size (5-7 cm) can be given food cuk.
v  In addition to natural foods can also be given additional food in the form of dried worms, jelly, etc. Feeding should be 2 times a day, should not be exaggerated, because it can cause decay which can damage water quality.
v  Substitution of water. The water in the bathtub or aquarium not to dirty / muddy, because it can cause fish mortality. Dirt can be cleaned every 2-3 days disiphon way, water is wasted when penyimphonan by 10-20% may be replaced with new water.

Some Thing You Need to Consider In Spawning :
·         Water that is required is sufficient epidermis containing oxygen (O2) and clear.
·         The water temperature ranges between 15-27o C.
·         The preferred pH slightly alkaline, which is arround 7-8.
·    Food can be given a natural food (lrva, worms, water fleas) and artificial food, given sufficiently.
